Heritage Organizations
It is very exciting to find a noteworthy ancestor. Proving a link to one of them could qualify you for membership in different organizations. The most well known are the Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, and the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. If you have a possible link that could qualify you for membership, we can help you with the verification and application process.
The goals of these societies are: education, to preserve history, and to promote fellowship among the descendants. Whether you are interested in membership for the perceived sense of prestige, because you want to help preserve history, or simply because it would be a fun thing to do, I highly encourage you to take the next step toward membership.
